| Last summer somebody said he thought my Victorian farmhouse, built in 1900, may well have been built from a Sears & Roebuck house kit. Is there a way to find out for sure? Thanks! |

 Sears began selling house plans in 1908, and ended circa 1940.

I am searching for information about Sears plan number 1171 built by my grandfather around 1925-26. Pieces were shipped by rail into Liberty, NC to Julia F. M. Moore. He cut much of the timber from trees on his land. |
